Dr Vasilis Kouloumpinis received his dental degree DDS from the Dental School of Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1991.

He also received his MSc degree in Oral Pathology in 1996 from the same university.

In 1997 he obtained his post graduate diploma in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology (a three year program) from the same university.

From 1993 to 2000 Dr Kouloumpinis was a scientific associate and clinical instructor of the department of Oral Diagnosis and Oral Radiology of the Dental School of Athens University.

In 2010 he attended and  successfully completed the annual Postgraduate Program in Implant Surgery and Implant Prosthodontics at Dental School of Kapodistrian University of Athens.

In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, (130 hours CE credit) he also attended Continuing Education courses in Esthetic Implantology and Advanced Regenerative techniques in hard and soft tissues at CCDE – School of Dental Medicine Bern, Switzerland .

In 2019 he  successfully completed an annual  post graduate program in Reconstructive surgery in Periodontal and Peri-implant tissues at the department of Periodontology, University of San Raffaele, Milan, Italy.

 Since 2010 he is an active member of ITI and ITI study club Athens 1, he is also a member of European Academy of Maxillofacial Radiology, European Prosthodontic Association, Greek Prosthodontic Association, Hellenic Academy of Clinical Dentistry and many others.

He gives lectures, webinars and courses as an educator nationally or regionally in the field of Implantology.

Dr Kouloumpinis has been practicing esthetic dentistry, periodontal and peri-implant surgery and implantology in Athens since 1993 in his private clinic. His clinical focus is on the comprehensive treatment of complex, fully or partially edentulous patients applying all the contemporary available options of reconstructive dentistry including implant surgery, regenerative surgical techniques and implant prosthodontics.
